Dead bird and/or alien pod Quiz

2 11 2010

Bird A: Found on Long Island, NY in August by Katie Fumai.

A Dead Bird Quiz plus bonus extra credit question today. As per the usual arrangement, your guesses are welcome as comments on the blog.  SEANET is particularly interested in your thoughts on the mysterious round things in the last photo. Seanetter Jerry Golub sent the photo on behalf of his son who frequently finds these things washed up on the Atlantic coast of Florida. Your SEANET blogger makes no claim to being an expert on alien pods, so please share your thoughts. I am particularly interested in what our southern Seanetters have to say, as I suspect they may have encountered these things first-hand.

Bird B: Found on October 23rd by Diana Gaumond on Cape Cod.

"Bird" C: Found often on Florida beaches.
